I have worn the same pair of shoes from New Look for about 8 years and I LOVE them but they have officially died on me so I have been looking for an everyday vegan shoe that will last the test of time and I had heard good things about Wills Vegan Shoes.
They are a company that was established in 2012 and is PETA and
Vegan Society certified and their products are made in Italy and Portugal.
I really like the look of all their shoes but I decided to get the Point Toe Boots that cost £83 plus £3 for postage, because it was similar to my old shoes from New Look, but Unforchently though this is a gorgeous shoe I have very weird feet and was born with a birth defect on my left foot that makes shoes uncomfortable and these shoes were too narrow around the start of my toes so I decided to return them and get the Point Toe Chelsea Boots instead as they have more room for my toes and are the same price.
I was very impressed with how easy it was to return and exchange them to another shoe ( read more here) and there was zero fuss involved.
The Wills Vegan Shoes come perfectly packaged in non treated paper shipping bags, non treated cardboard box, biodegradable documents and non treated paper parcel tape all sustainably sourced which is very important to me and is hard to come by, how many times have you bought something and its came packaged in wasteful plastic that you don’t need. I really applaud how Eco-friendly they package their products and it makes me like this brand even more.
Now onto my actual Wills Vegan Shoes Review…
First of all these shoes are stunning and go with every outfit and are a perfect everyday shoe that can be worn walking in the woods or going out to dinner and the pointed toe really makes the shoe very elegant and classic without being too flashy.
Wills Vegan Shoes are created with bio oil sourced from organic cereal crops grown in Northern Europe and are water resident which is important when you like in the UK and have to trudge through puddles. ( Learn More About The Brand Here)
These shoes aren’t the easiest thing to slip into and I wish they had a zip but in time it will get easier to put them on and off, I find the shoes are comfortable when first put on but unfortunately my feet are weird and it takes me about 8 months to a year to wear in any pair of shoes. So I have had quite a few blisters but I really don’t think that’s anything to do with just these shoes as every pair I’ve ever worn hurts my feet for ages I just hope they get better soon as they are the main shoes that I wear every day.
These shoes have gone through the mud and across pavements in the pouring rain. I have had no problems as it keeps the water out perfect plus the vegan leather is very easy to clean which is a massive plus especially if you walk through mud.
The craftsmanship of these shoes are fantastic and you really get your money’s worth as the stitching and overall quality of the shoes are perfect, I do also think these shoes will last me for years which was why I didn’t mind the price so much as I was happy to find a vegan ethical alternative to a long-lasting shoe that will be durable.
Overall this is a beautiful classic, elegant shoe that I think I will be wearing most days for years to come, I’m also happy that I put my money into a brand I believe in that aren’t harming animals but still want to make durable products that will last, I would highly recommend giving the Wills Vegan Shoes website a browse and I’d definitely look at the Chelsea pointed boots.
