It’s time to scrub off the winter blues and in the winter I really let my beauty skincare routine falter. That includes moisturising and scrubbing my body, so now I’m going on holiday ( Happy Dance) I really need to get my body bikini ready.
Now I just want to get this out in the open straight away, I have been generously given this scrub to review but all my thoughts are my own and I will always tell you the absolute truth about any product I use.
Now on with the review, It contains coffee grounds, Ylang ylang which is a flower that is supposed to be calming and stress relieving, jojoba oil, apricot oil, almond seed and avocado oil.
The packaging is very simple but does the job of keeping the scrub fresh and water tight, it is 100% organic and because of the coffee, it is biodegradable which is very important as we are now being made aware of how bad microbeads are for our environment and marine life.
When I took a sniff opening the packaging I must say that it was very overwhelming, I was expecting coffee but it was very strong and potent luckily the scent doesn’t linger on your skin when you wash away the scrub.
The coffee grounds are finely milled but quite abrasive so I wouldn’t recommend it to people with super sensitive skin or using it on your face but if you use a light hand it works wonders to take off dead skin and makes it silky-smooth ready for tanning.
The one thing I didn’t like was the mess but I think this applies to any scrub, it was all over my shower and I had to clean it afterword’s which is a pain but again I think this will happen with whatever scrub you use.
You can buy this product here, it costs £9.95 overall this product did the job well but id only use it once a week as any more may be too much and damage your skin, Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss out on any new things and please comment below if you’ve got a body scrub that you can’t live without. Thanks for reading Xxx
