Christmas Party Makeup ( casual )

Christmas Party Makeup, Casual

Not everyone is going too lots of fancy parties this christmas so you can’t have a full on glam look every time but that doesn’t mean you have to look boring.

This look is very simple and focuses on the eyes but it looks like you’ve put more effort in it then what you actually have.

Face –

For base makeup use a foundation with no or very low SPF as you will be taking pictures and you don’t want flash back. I used Urban Decay Naked Foundation in 1.0 which I’ve been raving about in a blog post , putting a thin layer all over my face blending in with a sponge and instead of concealer just dabbing extra foundation on blemishes and under my eyes.

To finish off my face I just used the Rimmel London sun shimmer in medium matte on my cheeks , temples and down my nose to give me some colour. For a party look highlighter is a must and the one i used was So Susan highlighting crayon in star light putting it on my cupids bow and the tops of my cheek bones , lastly to finish it all off use powder in your T zone and anywhere you are a bit oily, mine was Kiko compact powder in 100.

Eyes –

Depending on how long you will be out i recommend a eyeshadow primer my personal favourite is Urban Decay primer potion.

For the eyeshadow i used the very famous Naked palette by Urban Decay.

On my lids i used Half Baked which is a sparkly dark gold blending it all over my eyes almost to my brows and focusing on my tear duct and centre of my lid.

In my crest i blended in the colour Buck a ashy medium brown until it was slightly darkened up.

On my upper lash line i used Creep a sparkly black on a small angled brush making a small line with no flick then taking the excess shadow on my lower lash line and using a buffing brush blending in the black on my upper lash line until it is smokey and soft , adding extra eyeshadow in half baked to keep the lids nice and bright focusing in my tear duct and centre lid.

For a casual look i wouldn’t put fake lashes on but if you want to thats fine , i just puts lots of mascara on using The Body Shop Define & Lengthen mascara.

Lips –

I just put lip balm on my lips to keep it all looking casual and my lips looking super soft i used Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream but you can put lip gloss on or anything you like just stay away from bright colours as were trying to keep it casual.

And thats the christmas party makeup look tell me in the comments if you want a hair and clothes to go with this look and tag me on Instagram if you recreate it ! Thank you for reading Xxx
