I find nowadays I want my toners to be simple but effective, nothing super fancy with acids and other active ingredients, just from nature and that isn’t stripping my skin.
I do think you should never miss out a tonner as it is an important step but I like to see what I’m lacking in my skincare routine, my skincare routine is focused in fighting spots/ acne and though I do have hydrating elements I felt that needed work.
So when I saw the claims of Lush Eau Roma Water I had to try it, they claim it is suitable for sensitive skin types, calm and reduce redness, balance and soften skin while being hydrating. All very promising.
There are only eight ingredients but the majority of the product is Lavender and Rosewater with Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Perfume, Methylparaben. And costs £4.95 for 100ml or £9.50 for 250ml, (Buy Here)Also as always this product is Cruelty-Free and Vegan.
I have been using this product for a while and repurchased twice, so spoiler alert! I like it.
First off let’s talk about packaging its standard Lush and I do think it could be prettier but I highly respect the fact that their bottles are recycled and the personal touch of the sticker that shows who made this product and at what date.
Now I know this seems like this is a minute detail but honestly it’s important! the spray head… seems like a little thing but it could mean the difference of an all over spirits or water spared in your face like a water gun luckily the lush spray is pretty good and distributes the product very evenly.
The smell of this product is fine, I don’t Love it nor do I hate it, but it is fairly strong so if you don’t like the smell of rose’s I would probably give this product a miss.
So the big question did it actually help my skin? yes, it definitely did, its not a magic potion that automatically makes your skin gorgeous ( which I feel some people expect from their products ) but I do think it helps calm down my redness which is a big thing for me! it also isn’t stripping and your face doesn’t feel tight like most toners after you use it plus I can confirm it definitely doesn’t react with other products easily like retinal or lactic acid ( for my skin anyway) which is a big plus because I don’t want to destroy my skin by using products that hate each other.
Overall I have repurchased this product twice so that proves I truly like it as that is unusual for me to repurchase a product as I love trying new things, if you suffer from red irritated skin I HIGHLY recommend this as I found it has helped my redness which I have a problem with and this product isn’t stripping which I find a lot of other toners are! Is this your favourite Lush Tonner? Or do you have another that you just can’t live without please tell me in the comments? Thanks for reading Xxx
